1st Annual Saltwater Assassins Flounder Tournament
RULES

Participants must be registered, and an entry fee of $200 is to be paid to Saltwater Assassins before 7 pm on Friday, July 17th, 2026. No checks will be accepted after Sunday, July 12th, 2026.

The captains' meeting will take place at 7 pm on July 17th at Stone Harbor Marina, located at 1140 Stone Harbor Blvd, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247

All fishing will take place on Saturday, July 18th, 2026.

RAIN DATE SUNDAY, JULY 19th, 2026. This makeup date is subject to the Director of the Tournament.

The entry fee will enter you into the “Heaviest Overall Fluke”. All additional Calcutta expenses are to be paid separately.

ALL ENTRY FEES AND CALCUTTAS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

All fish must be caught using a rod and reel.

There may be up to 6 lines fished in the water at one time.

All NJ and Federal fishing and boating rules must be followed. All State rules, regulations, and licensing apply and must be adhered to by all participants.

All boats must leave and return to Cape May County

Permitted Inlets: Great Egg Harbor Inlet, Corsons Inlet, Townsends Inlet, Herefords Inlet, Cape May Inlet.

There are no distance limitations.

Lines in at 7:00 am and lines out at 3:00 pm.

Weigh-in begins at 4:00 pm and ends at 6:00 pm at Stone Harbor Marina.

The award ceremony will commence following the weigh-ins.

No fish will be accepted prior to or after the weigh-in times.

All winning fish are subject to a gut check for any weights or added weight to increase their “odds” to win.

A tied weight will be determined by length. If both weight and length remain tied, the fish first to the scale will be determined the winner.

A tag will be applied to any fish entered into the heaviest overall flounder to prevent that fish from being weighed again.

Flounder entered into the heaviest overall will not be eligible for the heaviest 3 fluke stringer.

Anglers, crews, boat owners, and guests of participants enter the Tournament at their own risk and assume all risks that might occur. Participating Parties hereby release and forever discharge Saltwater Assassins and all parties in any way associated with Saltwater Assassins against any and all claims, demands, obligations, and causes of action, that Participating Parties may have arising out of or in any way connected with their participation in the Tournament.

Any participant that attempts to weigh in illegal size fish will be disqualified from the tournament, forfeit their entry fees and Calcutta bets. They will be ineligible for any prizes and banned from all future Saltwater Assassins-run tournaments.

Any participants who get caught cheating, breaking the rules or trying to defraud the tournament in any way, shape, or form will be immediately disqualified. These participants will forfeit their entry fees and Calcutta bets. They will be ineligible for any prizes and banned from all future Saltwater Assassins-run tournaments.
